The James Madison Professor of Political Economy and Professor of Economics at Princeton University, Dr. Reinhardt has been a frequent guest of the PBS News Hour, CNN, National Public Radio and other media outlets. He has written extensively on healthcare economics and reform for the New York Times, the Wall Street Journal, and other publications.

Following Professor Reinhardt's remarks, CURE will present the CURE Award for Excellence and the CURE Atlas Award for Venture Capital Achievement to this year's winners, selected from among Connecticut organizations and individuals.

Who
Recognized as one of the nation's leading authorities on health care economics, Dr. Uwe E. Reinhardt is the James Madison Professor of Political Economy and Professor of Economics and Public Affairs at the Woodrow Wilson School of Public & International Affairs at Princeton University.
His most recent research has focused on hospital pricing, systems of health care around the world, Medicare reform, and health care spending. His work has appeared in Health Affairs, the New England Journal of Medicine, JAMA, and the British Medical Journal.
He received his Ph.D. degree from Yale University.
