Thomson Reuters Launches Japanese Version of ScholarOne Manuscripts

PHILADELPHIA and LONDON, May 18 Thomson Reuters today announced the availability of a Japanese version of the industry-leading peer review system, ScholarOne Manuscripts (formerly Manuscript Central), as part of their renewed partnership with Kyorinsha Co., Ltd. The new version offers a Japanese language interface, combined with key components in the original system to allow for the full support capabilities users have come to expect from ScholarOne. This release enhances usability and information sharing for Japanese-speaking users and supports the Thomson Reuters research workflow solution suite for the extensive Japanese scientific community.

Several organizations in the region have already started using this system. The first user, The Japanese Society of Gastroenterological Surgery, selected ScholarOne Manuscript's Japanese system for use in The Japanese Journal of Gastroenterological Surgery.
