After listening to the buzz for the past couple of weeks we finally took a good look at the recently-released enhanced Beta Version of the popular Masterseek business search engine through the eyes of subscribers and we’ve reached an interesting conclusion.
Our business technology reporting team dug deeply into the claims about Masterseek with surprising results.
Since the release on March 25th 2011 of the well-known Masterseek.com search platform’s new Beta Version the tech press has been receiving reports that Masterseek has disrupted the legacy business search model and has become a “game-changer” in the world of search.
Are the claims being made about Masterseek true? Tech World News made some eye-opening discoveries by talking with hardcore searchers and business professionals devoted to the Masterseek search platform. We recorded some of the interviews for our special report about Masterseek.
Ann Winston is a typical Masterseek subscriber: She’s a young woman who owns and operates her own business providing paralegal research services under contract to various law firms. Ann relies on the platform throughout the workday to gather raw information about companies from the Internet which she uses for her work product. Yet she also uses the Masterseek platform as a business tool to bring new clients for her own business.
To illustrate the challenges faced by searchers and the solutions offered by Masterseek’s Beta Version below are some excerpts from our interview with Ann:
So what led you to try Masterseek for your searches?
Ann Winston: Well I didn’t have much choice. I had been using several different Internet search engines to try to find information about companies and businesses but the other search engines all seemed the same—I’d search for information using relevant keywords and the results would include multiple pages of repetitive B.S. yet most web pages didn’t contain any “meat” in the form of information that I sought for my clients. Before I found Masterseek I wasted a lot of time on Internet searches.
Then one day while I was chasing a piece of information that I needed to show to a client I woke up—I realized that the last six web pages I’d looked at were simply knockoffs of each other—All six pages contained the same crudely-written duplicate text yet there was no real content and therefore no value for me… I was wasting my time. Luckily on that day an associate happened to send me a link to Masterseek and I was hooked.
Tech World News: What do you like best about the Masterseek search platform?
Ann Winston: I could say that income is the best thing about Masterseek yet for me personally the best result of using Masterseek has been the faster searches with more-relevant results than those returned by search engines like Google and Yahoo alone.
Tech World News: Income? Please explain.
Ann Winston: Well for me Masterseek is the world’s best Internet search engine because it saves me a couple of hours per day in search time… That’s extra money in my purse. And the time I save when Masterseek filters out the garbage and clutter adds up enough to let me spend more time with my kids too.
But now that Masterseek has been updated with the new Beta Version the big news is that I can actually use my search platform to find and market to new clients. It means that I can use Masterseek’s pinpoint accuracy and the Beta Version’s new tools to find and close new clients for my legal research services at the same time that I’m using the platform to search for and get the information to write my reports for clients. Masterseek does it all.
Tech World News: What do you think business-searching will be like in the future?
Ann Winston: I don’t know how the technology of Internet searching will evolve into the future yet I believe that Masterseek will continue to be on the leading edge of search technology. I think they’ll continue to play an important role in providing the tools that businesspeople like me use on a daily basis. Nowadays my searches are faster and more productive… Thanks to Masterseek I’m looking forward to even better search tools in the future!
Tech World News: If someone were frustrated with their current business search engine would you recommend that they try Masterseek?
Ann Winston: Absolutely. As soon as I began using Masterseek.com my “numbers” improved. On the first day that I began using Masterseek while searching for company information I finished the client’s project an hour earlier than usual…
Tech World News: Sounds interesting. Do you have any final thoughts about Masterseek that you’d like to share?
Ann Winston: I do all my searches through Masterseek and I recommend Masterseek.com to all my friends and business associates. Try it!
Tech World News: Ann thanks for giving us your insight about Masterseek and thanks also for spending your time with us here today.
Ann Winston: It’s my pleasure!
