Honoring influential Irish Americans in the field of life sciences, the first "Irish Life Science 50" award reception occurred on May 20, 2010 at the Irish Consulate in New York City.
Declan Daly was named Chief Operating Officer (COO) & Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of Fibrocell Science, Inc. in September 2009. Prior to the reorganization of Isolagen, Inc. as Fibrocell, he had served as Chief Executive Officer of Isolagen. He originally joined Isolagen as CFO and Executive Vice President - Europe in June 2006, and was promoted to COO and CFO in June 2007. Prior to joining Isolagen, Mr. Daly spent more than seven years with Inamed Corporation and most recently served as CFO. Mr. Daly holds a BA in Management Science and Industrial Systems Studies from Trinity College in Dublin and is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Ireland.
