"Both our honorees are incredible role models and have demonstrated a long-standing commitment to health and wellness in the community," said Betty Jane Bruck, President of The Helping Hand of Los Angeles. "Their mutual commitment to giving back through a host of worthwhile endeavors, coupled with their dedication to the most important job of all – motherhood - symbolize the very best of what our Mother of the Year awardees represent."

Actress, model, author and humanitarian Molly Sims is noted for her savvy sense of style. Her website MollySims.com offers original content on beauty, fashion and wellness, and her book, "The Everyday Supermodel: My Beauty, Fashion, and Wellness Secrets Made Simple," appeared on the New York Times best seller list.  Sims recently signed on as a contributor for season 19 of ABC's "The View."

Stacy Valner is the founder of the Phase One Foundation, which she created in 1999 after her husband's battle with stage 4 cancer.  Stacy's ongoing work with the foundation includes funding research for clinical trials and ensuring the foundation continues to grow and thrive.

The luncheon will feature a fashion show by award-winning designer Kevan Hall and a luxury boutique, with a portion of the sales proceeds benefiting The Helping Hand of Los Angeles.

The Helping Hand of Los Angeles, founded in 1929, supports the Cedars-Sinai Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology. The group has raised more than $23 million, helping to establish the Gilda Radner Ovarian Cancer Detection Program and funding two endowed chairs at Cedars-Sinai, including The Helping Hand of Los Angeles Endowed Chair in Obstetrics and Gynecology helmed by Sarah Kilpatrick, MD, PhD.
