The Ensign Group, Inc. to Reschedule Third Quarter Earnings Announcement

MISSION VIEJO, Calif., Dec. 18 The Ensign Group,Inc. (Nasdaq: ENSG), the parent company of the Ensign(TM) group of skillednursing, rehabilitative care services and assisted living companies, todayannounced it is rescheduling its third quarter 2007 earnings release to allowadditional time to complete the review of its Form 10-Q for the third quarterended September 30, 2007. The Company will issue a press release announcingthe specific date and time of the rescheduled third quarter earnings call uponcompletion of this review. A live webcast had been previously scheduled forTuesday, December 18, 2007.

The Ensign Group, Inc's registration statement was declared effective bythe Securities and Exchange Commission on November 8, 2007. As a newly-publiccompany, Ensign's third quarter 2007 quarterly report is not due until thefirst business day which is 45 days thereafter. Due to the holiday closure ofthe Securities and Exchange Commission on December 24, 2007, the due date forfiling the Company's third quarter Form 10-Q is December 26, 2007.
