The Two Organizations Will Collaborate to Publish Timely, Authoritative Resources for Use in Undergraduate and Graduate Public Health Studies
WASHINGTON, April 22 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The American Public Health Association (APHA) and Jones & Bartlett Learning today announced a new publishing partnership.
In its continuing effort to improve the public's health, APHA will work closely with Jones & Bartlett Learning to develop and publish the most authoritative resources in public health for course instruction at both the graduate and undergraduate level.
"We are pleased to team up with a leading publisher in the field to deliver quality, evidence-based resources that will enhance learning, strengthen the public health work force and improve health outcomes," said Georges C. Benjamin, MD, FACP, FACEP (E), executive director of APHA. "This new collaboration will raise the bar for public health education and equip tomorrow's leaders with the tools they need to succeed."
Jones & Bartlett Learning publishes over 100 titles for the study and practice of public health. In use by professionals and at higher education institutions across the country, Jones & Bartlett Learning texts cover the complete range of topics that are critical to understanding how to prevent disease and promote health including epidemiology, biostatistics, environmental health, health education and promotion, health policy and management, and much more.
