The 8th Tata Memorial Hospital–Women's Cancer Initiative (TMH- WCI) Conference promises to be a conference with a difference. This conference will have the theme of “Updating the Guidelines for Primary Breast Cancer and Cervical Cancer”. Our mandate is to form consensus guidelines on the management of these cancers. The conference aims to cover a broad spectrum of issues including present day controversies related to these two common women malignancies.

To make the conference an interactive one, delegate voting sessions will precede each of the didactic talks presented by an expert. At the end of the each day, a panel of experts will vote on the guidelines. Oncology representatives from all regions of India and neighbouring countries will actively participate in updating the guidelines. We encourage young oncologists to submit their abstracts for poster/proffered paper sessions.

Another highlight of this conference would be a Pre-conference Workshop on Breast Radiotherapy where the nuances of radiotherapy planning and treatment of breast cancer would be discussed.

An attached PDF document would provide you full details of the conference. Details can also be viewed at

We eagerly look forward to meeting you in Mumbai this October!
