ANCHORAGE, Alaska, Aug. 7, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- 70 students participating in the 14th Annual Texas 4000 for Cancer
After 18-months of leadership development, training, volunteering and fundraising, the riders are put to the test. The students brave all kinds of weather and road conditions while pedaling more than 4,000 miles in the fight against cancer. During the past 14 years, over 650 students have made the trek from Austin to Anchorage, collectively raising more than $7 million in the fight against cancer since the ride began in 2003.
