Terumo Corporation Announces Settlement of all Patent Litigation with Maquet Cardiovascular

ANN ARBOR, Mich., Dec. 12 Terumo Corporation and Terumo'ssubsidiary, Terumo Cardiovascular Systems Corporation, announced today thatthey have entered into an agreement to settle all outstanding litigation withMaquet Cardiovascular, LLC. The companies have a number of lawsuits pendingin which each claims the other has infringed its patents. The litigations allinvolve methods and devices used in endoscopic vessel harvesting. All pendingdisputes between the companies will be immediately dismissed. In addition,the companies have agreed to cross license certain patents.
