Her appointment underscores TeleTracking's commitment to helping hospitals improve patient flow as a means of improving patient safety, including the delivery of more timely treatment, reducing overcrowding and limiting the spread of hospital infections.

To help achieve those ends, TeleTracking has been steadily recruiting nurses into the organization who can bring a clinical perspective to the product development, process analysis and redesign, sales and implementation processes.

"With increased attention to patient safety by the Joint Commission and other regulatory and licensing bodies, we expect to add more nurses to the 10 already on our team," said Sanzo. "Their experience continually helps hone our thinking about how to improve our products so that patients, as well has hospitals, benefit."

"Our mantra has become, 'better patient flow means better patient care,'" Sanzo continued. "Lisa's clinical experience has proven that to be true time after time. This expanded role not only recognizes those contributions but assures that she is strategically placed within the organization to have a continued impact in that regard."
