TMG Health Names New Chief Information Officer

KING OF PRUSSIA, Pa., June 9 TMG Health, the leadingnational provider of Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) services for Medicareand Medicaid managed care plans, is pleased to announce the appointment of Dr.Bob Masterson as Chief Information Officer for TMG Health. Masterson willserve as a member of TMG Health's executive staff and assume responsibilityfor defining the information technology direction for the organization. Inthis role, he will provide leadership in systems development,telecommunications, applied technology, technical services, data centeroperations, office services and strategic companywide and business-unitdecisions involving information technology. Masterson will be responsible forcreating a seamless information technology function with operations spread outover multiple geographic locations.

Masterson brings to TMG Health over twenty five years of experience asChief Information Officer, Chief Technical Officer, Head of IT Infrastructure,Head of IT Strategy, and Head of IT Operations for the insurance, healthcare,managed care, long term care, medical benefits, and group healthcarebusinesses of major Fortune 100 Companies.

Jack Tighe, CEO and President of TMG Health, stated that Masterson "willplay an integral strategic role in the continued growth and success of TMGHealth. Because of his extensive experience in both the health care andfinancial services markets he will bring a unique and innovative view to howwe manage our IT operations and application services in support of our growingand sophisticated client base. For six years prior to joining TMG Health, Dr. Masterson held a variety ofkey executive, management consulting, and management positions with CitiGroupincluding Head of Technology for the North American Operations of CitiBank,the world's largest bank, Head of Architecture and Data Warehouse Developmentfor the North American Retail Business of CitiGroup, Head of TransactionSystems Development, and most recently, the position of Vice President of IT-- for its Healthcare Systems (functional CIO) where he was responsible formanaging all IT healthcare functions and operations for the Global ConsumerBusiness. He was responsible for working with various managed care providersto define company, individual, and group health and benefit plans andintegrate the providers IT systems with those used within CitiGroup. Hedesigned, built, and operated a company IT Infrastructure and healthcarewebsite to manage all healthcare functions within the firm, submit claims,select coverage limits and plans, manage employee flexible spending accounts,and exchange claim and customer data with contracted providers.

Other distinguished positions include Chief Information Officer of theHighlands Insurance Group (An AIG Affiliate Company), CTO, Divisional CIO, andVP of Operations of American International Group (AIG), New York, NY,President and Practice Head of Genesis Associates, Head of Systems Developmentat TRW Financial Systems, (Sister Company of TIBCO), Chief Information Officerof Quest Vision Systems, Inc., and Director of Information Technology atScientific Calculations, Inc.

Masterson holds a Ph.D. in Engineering from M.I.T. (1977), a M.S. inEngineering from M.I.T. (1974), a B.S. in Physics from Notre Dame (1972), andwas admitted to the Harvard Business School MBA program (1974).
