Systagenix Announces Formation of New Global Medical Advisory Board to Support Future Clinical Advances in Wound Care

LONDON, October 13 Systagenix Wound Management hasannounced the formation of a new global Medical Advisory Board, consisting ofa group of multi-disciplinary and highly respected wound care clinicians andpractitioners from North America and Europe, which will be led bySystagenix's newly appointed Medical Director, Dr Robert Snyder.

Representing major specialist organisations and thought leaders in thewound care field, the Systagenix Medical Advisory Board will meet at specificintervals to provide feedback, input and guidance on company clinical andcommercial strategies and their implementation. The group represents a broadsection of the wound care clinical community with multi-disciplinarybackgrounds, including academic and health economic experts, practicingsurgeons, and nurse specialists. As well as advising Systagenix regardingtheir existing portfolio, they will focus on new and emerging technologies aswell as future clinical trends within wound care. They will also advise onother critical issues, such as health economics and reimbursement in order tohelp Systagenix meet the changing needs of the global wound care market.

In addition to clinical and new product development, working with DrSnyder, the Systagenix Medical Advisory Board will also focus on education,including new pathways to help reach and communicate with fellow healthcareprofessionals on the best and most up-to-date wound care practices.
