Ben Bridge Jeweler has carried the Tissot brand for a number of years where it ranks as one of the most popular of Swiss watch brands. It is fitting insofar as Ben Bridge originally began in 1912 as a watch making shop with a single store in downtown Seattle. Tissot, the Official Timekeeper of the Union Cyclist International (UCI) the world cycling federation for the World Championships of road, track and mountain bike cycling has been involved as a partner for cycling events for over a quarter of a century and values innovation, quest for performance and stretching oneself to the limits. The sponsoring of Jean-Philippe Patthey's journey was a natural fit for the brand. Ben Bridge Jeweler is a key retail partner for Tissot and is great way to welcome Patthey to Seattle.

Patthey has a passion for travel and adventures. He has been involved in other expeditions. Patthey started his quest on August 22nd from Prudhoe Bay Alaska and after a voyage of 15,500 miles; he will arrive in Ushuaia Argentina. Patthey suffers from heart disease and he wishes to demonstrate that he can still actively do this journey. He will be reporting to a medical partner. Other stops on his mission are Salem, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Phoenix and Tucson.

Tissot is known for designing innovative watches and Patthey has the perfect companion with him, the T-Touch Expert. The watch features Tissot's proprietary tactile technology that makes it more than a watch with its many functions perfect for the adventurer and avid sports lover. Other functions include 2 alarms, countdown timer, thermometer, 2nd time zone and backlight.
