MCLEAN, Va., Feb. 1 Sunrise Senior Living, Inc. (NYSE: SRZ) today announced that, in connection with the Company's continued efforts to reduce corporate spending, the employment of Daniel Schwartz, Sunrise's senior vice president of North American Operations, will be terminated effective May 31, 2010.
The Company's community operations will now report to Mark Ordan, Sunrise's chief executive officer, along with Senior Vice Presidents of Operations Laura McDuffie and Ron Jeanneault, who bring many years of both financial and operating management at Sunrise.
"We are all grateful for Daniel's nearly 15 years of service to Sunrise and the significant contributions he has made in championing the quality of life of thousands of residents and the team members who serve them," said Mark Ordan.
