ATLANTA, Jan. 5 MDdatacor, Inc., a leader in health carequality management solutions for insurers and health care providers, todayannounced a new contract with Summa Health Network (SHN), thephysician-hospital organization of Summa Health System, one of the largestorganized delivery healthcare systems in Ohio. SHN is currently participatingin a quality initiative with two national insurers and one regional insurer,all of which have historically relied solely on claims data for qualityanalysis.
MDdatacor will support SHN's multi-payer health care quality initiativethrough its patented and interoperable CareInformatix(TM) technology, whichwill enable SHN and its insurers to compare claims-based data to actualclinical data. Clinical data is better suited for providing physicians withactionable data as part of a quality initiative.
