MEMPHIS, Tenn., May 6, 2011 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- There is currently no flooding on the campus of St. Jude Children's Research Hospital and it is unlikely that the campus would flood. However, St. Jude is taking precautionary measures like sandbagging key areas should flooding affect its campus. Should any of the systems that are designed to protect St. Jude from flooding unexpectedly fail, the patient care facilities are not likely to be directly affected as they are located above the expected water level. St. Jude has identified areas of campus that could be impacted by water and is well-prepared to manage these contingencies.
