Pennsylvania Department of Health officials will commemorate Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder Awareness Week at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 8, at Gaudenzia Vantage House, 208 East King Street in Lancaster. Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder refers to all the disabilities that are caused in unborn babies by exposure to alcohol. Deputy Secretary Janice Kopelman will provide remarks during the program. Local legislators are also expected to attend.
