Wilts brings more than 25 years of experience in healthcare operations toher role at SpineMark. Most recently, she was vice president of operations forSanford Health System's neurosciences and hospital-based services division,where she worked with SpineMark to develop a Spine Center of Excellence. Shewas also charged with building a transplant program and expanding thefacility's hospitalist and intensivist programs.

In her 14 years with Sanford Health System, Wilts served in a number ofroles, including vice president of operations for the surgical andcardiovascular departments, director of cardiovascular services, director ofpractice development and regional director of operations for the primary caredivision.
Wilts began her career with the Central Plains Clinic where, as clinicmanager, she was responsible for the day-to-day management of three primarycare sites and after-hours services.
Wilts is affiliated with numerous groups, including the Medical GroupManagement Association (national and South Dakota chapter), the AmericanCollege of Medical Practice Executives, Institute of Healthcare Improvementand the National HealthCare Advisory Board. Wilts studied biology at AugustanaCollege before transferring to the University of South Dakota and earning abachelor's degree in business administration. She also received LeanHealthCare Certification through the University of Michigan.
