This agreement will deliver immediate 24/7 access to board certified, fellowship trained neurologists to North Carolina's most critical neurology patients via telemedicine.

Hugh Chatham Memorial Hospital is a 220 bed facility serving Elkin and surrounding areas. The hospital typically sees about 115 stroke patients each year and SOC's teleneurology service guarantees those patients immediate and around the clock access to a select cadre of board certified neurologists. Hugh Chatham is the first North Carolina hospital to launch the teleneurology service as part of the regional stroke network built by Forsyth Medical Center's Stroke & Neurosciences Center and SOC.
