ATLANTA, April 22 SoloHealth, a hi-tech health servicescompany based in Atlanta, GA, announced today that it has secured $1.8 millionin financing from private investors, including the Atlanta Technology Angels(ATA) investment group.

SoloHealth's inaugural product, EyeSite(TM), is a self-service vision-testing kiosk for use in high traffic retail environments. Throughsophisticated optical software and an interactive video interface, users canaccurately assess their distance and near vision -- free of charge. A printoutindicates the results, provides eye health information, and refers the user toa participating eye care professional nearby.

SoloHealth announced last week that EyeSite won three Awards ofExcellence, including "Best in Show" at the KioskCom Self Service Expo and TheDigital Signage Show in Las Vegas.
Past winners honored included: BMW, SONY, FedEx, AAA, the US PostalService, Hilton Hotels, Sunoco, SAS, and ExxonMobil.
Earlier this year, SoloHealth was selected as one of the 2008 "Top 40"Innovative Technology companies in Georgia by the Technology Association ofGeorgia (TAG), the state's leading technology organization.
