This wasn't the first time the program received accolades. Conversations in Motion was also nominated for the Med Ad News Manny Awards and the PM360 Trailblazer Awards and was recently recognized as Highly Commended by the WPPED Cream Awards, WPP's own creative effectiveness awards.
Conversations in Motion is an education program for physicians, developed in partnership with Eli Lilly. Research into rheumatoid arthritis unearthed a disconnect between physicians, who focus on long-term management of the disease, and their patients, who focus on the day-to-day impact the disease has on their lives. Sentrix and Eli Lilly consulted with leading rheumatologists as well as global linguistics and communications experts to develop a comprehensive, fully interactive, unbranded program to provide rheumatologists globally with the right skills and tools to communicate more effectively with their patients. Conversations in Motion was designed to help rheumatologists optimize patient conversations within the time constraints of an ever-shortening office visit.
Judges described the program as highly creative, ambitious, and engaging. "It creates real value for physicians and makes a real difference in patients' lives," one judge said. The four-module program includes role-playing scenarios, videos, and in-office cheat sheets. The teachings embodied have been validated in social theory research and can be incorporated into physicians' practice without adding time to the consultation. In fact, applying the principles saves time and positively impacts treatment outcomes.
