Self Help Therapy for Veterans with Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI)
The Dept. of Defense figures say that 1 in every 9 deployed solders to Iraq suffers from TBI (traumatic brain injury). It is caused by exposure to blast waves from explosives. Some of TBI's signs are: headaches, difficulty concentrating or making decisions, slowness in thinking and communicating, mood changes, ringing in the ears and other symptoms.
Related problems include disruptive relationships and problems adjusting to civilian life. Veterans can be helped by EPT, which is priced at $49.95, ISBN 978-1884239-78-6.

He also was on the Michigan Democratic Policy Committee on Crime and Drugs in the early 1970's. Plus he helped found three therapeutic communities and two other programs in Detroit.
For his own benefit he played The Game (encounter groups) at Synanon Detroit and attended other types of groups. Tom also ran several groups with government and private programs for many years. He is also a www.roundtablegroup.com/ scholar.
EPT is best done with a therapist's guidance who may add images to the CD-R for the patient to talk in appropriate places. New additions to EPT include images for criminal justice and medical professionals. Also, a section for general population use is being completed.
Remember that the therapist wants to get the patient to talk out his problems and resolve his issues. We say "Some say one is crazy if you talk to yourself; we say you are crazy if you don't."
Today we can talk ourselves to sanity by looking at images and using a verbal stream of consciousness.
