Fred J. Ferraro (New Providence, NJ), to senior vice president and equityportfolio manager. Previously he served as vice president and equityportfolio co-manager. Mr. Ferraro joined Selective in July 2003 as a seniorequity research analyst. Prior to that, he was an analyst with J.P. Robert J. Butler (Milford, PA), to vice president, flood operations.Previously he served as assistant vice president of flood operations. Mr.Butler joined Selective in 1981 and has held a variety of positions throughoutthe organization. Mr. Butler attended Upsala College in East Orange, NJ andholds the Associate in Insurance Services (AIS) designation. Mr. Butler is amember of the Institute for Business & Home Safety (IBHS) Flood Committee forthe Flood Insurance Servicing Companies Association of America (FISCAA).
Brenda M. Hall (Matthews, NC), to vice president and director of fieldoperations. Previously she served as assistant vice president and underwritingmanager of Selective's Southern region. Ms. Hall joined Selective in October2001. Prior to that, she was an underwriting specialist with ZurichSpecialties in Dallas, TX. Ms. Hall earned her B.A. from Mount Union Collegein Alliance, OH and holds a Masters degree from Webster University in Leiden,the Netherlands. Ms. Hall also holds the Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC)designation.
Cynthia B. Heismeyer (Augusta, NJ) to vice president of marketing &communications. Previously, she served as assistant vice president ofcorporate communications. Ms. Heismeyer joined Selective in 1986 in theinformation technology area and has held various positions in the corporatemarketing, market research and communication departments. Prior to that, shewas a manager with American Broadcasting Companies (ABC) in New York. Ms.Heismeyer holds a B.A. in communications and English from Rutgers Universityin New Brunswick, NJ and has earned the Associate in Insurance Services(AIS), Associate in Automation Management (AAM) and Certified ProfessionalInsurance Woman (CPIW) designations. One of the founding members of theInsurance Professionals of Sussex County, Ms. Heismeyer is also a member ofthe Insurance Public Relations Council, the International Association ofBusiness Communicators, the Public Relations Society of America, the Societyof Insurance Research and the Society of Competitive Intelligence.
Alison J. Mahan (Basking Ridge, NJ), to vice president of businessoperations. Previously she served as assistant vice president and manager ofpersonal lines operations. Ms. Mahan joined Selective in February 2006. Priorto that, she was director of customer care at Cover-All Technologies, Inc. Sheholds a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration from theUniversity of Delaware in Newark, DE and holds the Associate in AutomationManagement (AAM) designation.
Bruce B. Monahan (Newton, NJ), to vice president of internal audit. Mr.Monahan joined Selective in November 2007. Prior to that, he was assistantvice president at Liberty Mutual Group. Mr. Monahan holds a B.S. degree fromthe University of Connecticut in Storrs, CT, an MBA from the University ofHartford in West Hartford, CT, and an Advanced Professional Certificate inInformation Technology from New York University. He holds designations as aCertified Internal Auditor (CIA), Certified Financial Services Auditor (CFSA),Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), Certified Management Accountant(CMA), Certified Financial Manager (CFM), Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) andAssociate in Insurance Accounting & Finance (AIAF). <
