WASHINGTON, May 17, 2017 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- .... Effective May 17, Scott Dziengelski has

joined the National Association of Psychiatric Health Systems (NAPHS) as director of policy and regulatory affairs. In this role, he will develop and advocate NAPHS' positions before federal agencies to positively effect federal regulations, statutes,
and other governmental directives that affect behavioral health systems.  He will also work to develop policies and programs that promote quality behavioral health services.

Scott's knowledge will inform his work with our member organizations, who provide mental health and addiction treatment programs for people of all ages, as well as with regulators, federal agencies, and accrediting bodies."

Mr. Dziengelski is the recipient of the "Friend of Children's Mental Health Award" from the American Academy of Child & Adolescent Psychiatry as well as the "Medal of Merit" from the United States Capitol Police.  He has a bachelor of science in public policy and American government from American University.
