MERCED, Calif., March 4 Satellite Healthcare, one of the nation's first and leading providers of kidney dialysis services and a major sponsor of nephrology research, today announced the opening of a new Satellite Dialysis center in Merced, California. The new center adds to Satellite Healthcare's significant and expanding dialysis services throughout California. The center is equipped with 25 dialysis stations and a Peritoneal Dialysis area. Peritoneal Dialysis therapy allows the patient to perform dialysis at home with the support of the Merced staff.

The center is located at the intersection of N. Highway 39 (Snelling Highway) and Buena Vista at 3376 N. Highway 59, Suite I, Merced, CA 95348. The center is managed by professional nurses, dietitians, social workers and technicians that are trained for CKD patient care.
