SXC Health Solutions reports on the status of its bid for a PBM contract with a State Medicaid program

LISLE, IL, April 28 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ - SXC Health Solutions, Corp.("SXC" or the "Company") (NASDAQ: SXCI, TSX: SXC), a leading provider ofpharmacy benefits management services, announces that it has been notified bya State Medicaid program that it has the leading competitive bid to beconsidered for the awarding of a three-year $35 million Pharmacy BenefitsManager (PBM) contract.

While there is no assurance as to when, if at all, a contract will beawarded to the Company, the contract would be for three years with an expectedlaunch date of October 1, 2008, and would include two one-year extensionoptions. Further details of the anticipated contract will be available ifexecuted.
