First introduced at the end of2004, the PulseOx 5500(TM) is a spot check finger monitor for the medicalmarket and is sold primarily to homecare users as well as to hospitals,physicians and emergency care facilities to monitor heart rate and bloodoxygenation levels. The PulseOx 7500(TM) device is sold to physicians andsleep clinics primarily for pre-screening of sleep apnea; a medical conditionwith fast growing awareness throughout the industrialized world.

SPO Medical intends to announce two new professional oximetry devices thisyear for the hospital and physician markets. These new products will be firstshown during mid-November at the annual Medica Exposition in Dusseldorf,Germany which is the world's largest medical international trade fair forsupplies of medical devices; this will be followed by the American Associationfor Respiratory Care (AARC) International Respiratory Congress in Florida inDecember of this year.
