Flavors in the Organic line include Vanilla Bean, creamy vanilla ice creamwith real vanilla bean flakes; Cookies and Cream, vanilla ice cream withchocolate cookie pieces; Blueberries and Cream, creamy blueberry ice creambursting with tasty blueberries; and Mint Chocolate Chip, refreshing mint icecream loaded with chocolate chips. Each flavor comes in a 1.5-quart container.
"In the last 10 years, organic ice cream sales have grown 55 percent, sowe know the future is bright for this new line," Baker said. "But we alsorealize that organic farming helps restore and preserve the environment inharmony with nature, so the future is brighter for all of us, too."
Ruggles(R) Organic Premium Ice Cream is made with ingredients that do notuse antibiotics, pesticides, herbicides, or fertilizers. The new line is nowavailable throughout the Smith Dairy retail region.
