NEW YORK, Dec. 17 /PRNewswire/ -- Dr. B. Todd Schaeffer, endoscopic reconstructive surgeon and leading nasal expert, has retained Rubenstein Public Relations (RPR) to promote his extensive reconstructive and cosmetic practice.

A board-certified physician specializing in endoscopic surgery of the nose, face, neck, sinuses and skull base, Dr. Schaeffer is credited with aiding in pioneering revolutionary facial techniques. One new endoscopic procedure, a small balloon is placed in the paranasal sinuses with an ultra slim endoscope to relieve blockages in an office setting. He is also a leader in cosmetic surgery, developing an original technique called endoscopic liposhaving, which combines liposuction with endoscopic techniques to reshape the neck.

RPR, a public relations agency with significant expertise in the consumer and luxury markets, will generate coverage of Dr. Schaeffer's groundbreaking techniques and procedures in consumer, lifestyle, and health and wellness publications.

According to RPR President Richard Rubenstein: "Dr. Schaeffer's stature as a nasal expert, coupled with his pioneering work in reconstructive and plastic surgery present broad opportunities to generate meaningful exposure."

Dr. Schaeffer is among only a handful of U.S. surgeons, that partner with neurological surgeons, to facilitate the removal of brain tumors through the nose, which allows patients to recover faster and easier.

He is chief and associate chairman of the Department of Otolaryngology & Communicative Disorders at North Shore University Hospital in Manhasset and is also an assistant clinical professor of Otolaryngology--Head and Neck Surgery at Mount Sinai School of Medicine and New York University School of Medicine.
