Jakobs brings to his new position relevant experience in strategicplanning, sales and marketing from in- and outside the information solutionsindustry. He most recently served as Director of Strategy, Science andTechnology, at Elsevier. Prior to joining Elsevier in 2005 he held variousmanagement roles within Shell in several locations across Europe.
