Ratcliff Adds Architect John Sealander to Healthcare Practice Group

EMERYVILLE, Calif., Aug. 6 Ratcliff, the award-winning architecture, planning and interiors firm, added John E. Sealander, AIA, ACHA, NCARB, LEED(R) AP, as a project manager to the firm's healthcare practice group. A licensed architect in California, Sealander was Project Manager while at Stantec Architecture for the Ryan Ranch Outpatient Campus for the Community Hospital of the Monterey Peninsula which received an American Institute of Architects, San Francisco (AIA-SF) Citation for Excellence in Architecture. He also received an AIA-SF Presidential Commendation for his leadership of the Health + Science Committee, which he chaired from 2004-2006 and now chairs again.

Prior to joining Ratcliff, Sealander was a senior associate/associate partner at Stantec Architecture of San Francisco (formerly Chong Partners Architecture) and a prinicipal/senior project manager of Bobrow/Thomas and Associates in Los Angeles. He is a member of the American Institute of Architects, the American College of Healthcare Architects, holds a certificate from the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards, and is a LEED(R) Accredited Professional under the program of the U.S. Green Building Council. Sealander earned both his master's degree (1979) and his bachelor's degree in architecture (1969) from the University of California, Berkeley.
