QED International Associates Announces Changes to the HealthShares(TM) Diagnostics Index

NEW YORK, Feb. 1 QED International Associates, Inc,administrator for the HealthShares(TM) Indexes, a series of 20 underlyingindexes for the HealthShares(TM) Exchange-Traded Funds, today announced thateffective at the opening of trading on Thursday February 7, 2008, AnalogicCorporation (Nasdaq: ALOG) will replace Ventana Medical Systems, Inc.(Nasdaq: VMSI) in the HealthShares(TM) Diagnostics Index. Ventana's is beingacquired by Roche group based in Switzerland.

Companies that are included in The HealthShares(TM) Diagnostics Index areengaged in the identification of the existence and extent of a disease, thevisual localization of a disease by way of imaging, the selection oftherapeutic agents appropriate for the disease wherever possible and themonitoring of disease progression/therapeutic efficacy.
