PRINCETON, N.J., Nov. 13, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Promius Pharma LLC today announced that its employees raised $12,715 to support American Red Cross relief efforts to assist those affected by the recent hurricanes. Additionally, Promius' parent company Dr. Reddy's Laboratories matched this donation for a combined contribution of $25,215.
Promius sales and marketing teams took a creative approach to fundraising by competing against one another in a "fidget spinner challenge." Participants submitted videos of themselves using the gadget, often in attention-grabbing or humorous ways. For each video submitted, Promius donated money to the relief effort. In total, more than 100 videos were submitted.
