The contract covers IL's portfolio of critical care analyzers, reagents,consumables and service, including IL's flagship product, the GEM(R)Premier(TM) 4000 analyzer for blood gas, electrolyte and metabolite andintegrated CO-Oximetry testing. This analyzer features IL's patentedIntelligent Quality Management (iQM(R)), a real-time, automated, qualityassurance system that continuously detects, corrects and documents, to assurequality results and compliance, 24/7, regardless of operator or testinglocation. iQM, coupled with its cartridge-based technology and ease of use,allows the GEM Premier 4000 provide consistent, accurate, lab-quality resultsthroughout the hospital. GEMweb(R) Plus software enables remote access to anynetworked analyzer for real-time status updates and supervision of remotelocations.
