Pharma ChemOutsourcing Show Seeking VC's to Address 100 Biotech Companies at September Event in Long Branch, NJ
LONG BRANCH, N.J., July 7 /PRNewswire/ -- Pharma ChemOutsourcing announced today that it is actively seeking VC's to speak to the 100 biotech companies attending the annual event this September 14-16, 2010 in NJ. This is a brand new forum for VC's to address large numbers of biotechs.
"The idea is to leverage the attendance of so many successful biotech companies to attract VC's," says Mark Alexay, the organizer. "The biotechs already have clinical stage pipelines but access to fresh capital is always on their minds. These are the types of companies that present the lowest risk for investors. This could be an important new venue for VC's to shop investment prospects."
The 2010 attendee list and current 150 faculty speaker roster are at http://chemoutsourcing.com/attendees.php and http://chemoutsourcing.com/2010_speakers_current.php
VC's are invited to present their biotech investment plans during several panel discussions on Wednesday, September 16. The sessions will be jam packed with biotech company VP and Director level executive management. The goal is to attract around 15 life sciences investment firms from around the USA.
"The attending biotechs already have robust pipelines – these are the types of companies that are attractive for further funding. You don't often find this dense concentration of successful biotech companies at conferences," remarked Alexay. "The idea about adding a partnering component in the show was hatched in 2009 and this year we will make it happen. It makes perfect sense to bring together investors with carefully selected biotechs and see what good things happen."
