The American Association of Critical-Care Nurses (AACN) hosts its annual National Teaching Institute & Critical Care Exposition (NTI), Saturday, May 15, through Thursday, May 20, at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center and nearby headquarters hotels in Washington, D.C. AACN expects attendance to top 6,000 nurses and include many at the forefront of research, academia, staff development and management.

In addition to emerging trends in patient care, NTI sessions will focus on healthcare reform, patient safety, healthy work environments, pandemics, disasters and many more issues facing those in the healthcare profession.
AACN's National Teaching Institute & Critical Care Exposition (www.aacn.org/nti) offers more than 300 sessions about best healthcare practices, now and in the future. Topics include the following, among others:
