Partnership for Prescription Assistance Helps Patients in Need

WASHINGTON, Dec. 3 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The Redwood Gazette recently reported that there is "hopeful news" for patients who are struggling financially and worried about paying for their medicines.  The Partnership for Prescription Assistance (PPA) has helped more than 6 million patients find programs providing prescription medicines for free or nearly free.

The Partnership for Prescription Assistance has access to information on more than 475 patient assistance programs, including nearly 200 programs offered by pharmaceutical companies. The PPA also provides information on more than 10,000 free health care clinics and health care providers.
