IRVINE, Calif., Feb. 18 /PRNewswire/ -- Pacific Dental Services (PDS) participated in the American Dental Association® (ADA) "Give Kids a Smile®" event to raise awareness about the importance of oral health. Forty PDS-affiliated offices – in partnership with the Boys & Girls Clubs, United Way, local schools, churches and homeless shelters – provided a day of free dentistry, including dental exams, digital x-rays, cleanings, fillings, sealants and extractions, to more than 400 children throughout California, Arizona, Nevada and Colorado.

"A healthy smile is one of the best gifts to give to children and their parents. Oral health is such an important part of overall health, especially as children grow."
Marking the fifth consecutive year PDS has participated in "Give Kids a Smile®," "We Serve" Manager Kyle Guerin said, "Serving our local communities is at the core of our company's values. This is one of the many ways we volunteer our time and resources to help those in need throughout the year."
Participation in "Give Kids a Smile®" could not happen without PDS' key vendor partner, Henry Schein, Inc., which provided a generous donation of dental supplies.
