The American Heart Association's Go Red For Women movement hasreleased a study, conducted by Sperling's BestPlaces, revealing the nation'sten most -- and least -- heart friendly cities for women. Minneapolis-SaintPaul took the title of Most Heart Friendly City For Women with the lowestcardiac mortality rate for women, low hypertension rates and highest exerciserates. Nashville, on the other hand, finished at the bottom of the rankingswith high obesity and smoking rates.

Nation's College Students Know Little About the Politics and History ofAmerican Wars
The Memorial Day tradition of honoring soldiers who died in militaryservice dates back to the American Civil War. As the country prepares toobserve another Memorial Day, newly released data suggests that our nation'scollege students are lacking in knowledge about the Civil War as well as thegeneral politics, causes and history of the wars that have shaped our countryand taken the lives of the brave Americans that we honor.
The data, analyzed by the Intercollegiate Studies Institute, shows thatcollege seniors scored an average of 52 percent correct on a series ofquestions about war history and related themes. College freshmen asked thesame questions on average achieved just 47 percent correct. Only 48 percent ofall students were able to identify that the Civil War battles of Fort Sumter,Gettysburg and Appomattox were listed in the correct chronological order.
