The contests are part of a six-week promotion between PEMCO Insurance andTully's Coffee that highlights the "Super-Long Coffee Orderer" character fromPEMCO's "We're A Lot Like You. A Little Different." ad campaign, whichconnects us as a community through tongue-in-cheek parodies of localresidents' traits.

"We're excited to partner with Tully's Coffee to support Children'sHospital in its mission to prevent, treat, and eliminate pediatric disease,"said PEMCO spokesperson Jon Osterberg. "Like PEMCO, Tully's is a locallybased company, and this promotion is a great opportunity to extend many of ourshared Northwest values."

In addition to helping raise money for Children's, those who nominatetheir "super-long" orders will have a chance each week to win a Tully's giftbag and $100 gift card compliments of Tully's. At the end of the six-weekpromotion, PEMCO will make a $10,000 donation to Children's Hospital in allsix winners' names.

To kick off the promotion, KMTT "The Mountain" radio station (103.7 FM)will broadcast live from Tully's flagship store at 4th Avenue and Union Streetin Seattle on Friday, March 21. During the 6 a.m. - 10 a.m. broadcast, participating Tully's stores will offer lattes for $1.03, and the first 103customers to the flagship store can enjoy a latte for free.

"People around the Northwest are known as coffee lovers, and we'reindividualistic," Osterberg said. "Often times our coffee orders express ourunique quirks. Short and simple drink orders are a rarity -- now it's allabout how many shots, packets and pumps you can get."

To qualify for the weekly prizes, Tully's customers must simply fill intheir unique "super-long" coffee order on entry forms, perhaps while waitingfor the person in front of them to finish what seems more like a short speechthan a coffee order. Completed entry forms can be dropped in jars found inparticipating Tully's stores throughout the Northwest.

Tully's will select winners on a weekly basis, and the winning entrieswill be featured at http://www.werealotlikeyou.com, along with otherrecognizable Northwest types like the Recumbent Bicycle Commuter, Green LakePower Walkers, and Blue Tarp Campers.

"Children's is honored to have been selected by PEMCO and Tully's asbeneficiary from this wonderful collaboration," said Peggy Walton, chair ofChildren's Hospital Board of Trustees. "The Northwest is a generous communityand we think this promotion will creatively inspire folks to support patientsand families in our area."
