Over 80 Research Abstracts to be Presented & Record Attendance Expected at Crohn's & Colitis Foundation of America's Advances in Inflammatory Bowel Diseases Clinical and Research Conference

NEW YORK, Nov. 22, 2016 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The Crohn's & Colitis Foundation of America (CCFA) and Imedex will present a record number of research abstracts at the 2016 Crohn's & Colitis Foundation of America's Advances in Inflammatory Bowel Diseases Clinical and Research Conference (AIBD). AIBD is taking place in Orlando, Florida on December 8-10, 2016.

Attendees will gain insight into current research via clinical presentations, including epidemiology and outcomes research revealing important research results including longitudinal study results from the Ocean State Crohn's and Colitis Area Study (OSCCAR),encouraging clinical trials data, and significant findings in pediatric complications and diagnostics.

At AIBD, clinicians will gain immediately-implementable, practice-changing knowledge, while researchers will be immersed in the latest results in the rapidly changing scientific landscape.  For the first time ever, the conference's nursing agenda, which empowers nurses and allied healthcare providers to develop best practices in interprofessional IBD patient care, will be certified by the American Academy of CME, Inc, an accredited provider of continuing nursing education.

More than 60 expert specialists from the U.S. and abroad from institutions including Harvard Medical School, Northwestern Feinberg School of Medicine, Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, Cedars Sinai, and Mayo Clinic will lead sessions, including 15 new faculty added this year.
