Northwestern Memorial HealthCare and Northwestern Memorial Foundation Elect New Members to Board of Directors

CHICAGO, Feb. 12 Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, corporate parent of Northwestern Memorial Hospital, appointed at its January 31 board meeting several new members to the Northwestern Memorial Foundation's Boards of Directors.

Trina D. Gordon McCallister

McCallister currently serves as president of the Friends of Prentice board of directors and is a member of Northwestern Memorial Hospital's Campaign Steering Committee. Gordon is chairman of Boyden World Corporation's board of directors, where she has been a member of the board since 2001. She also serves as managing director of Boyden Chicago, where she's led management consulting and executive search efforts for Fortune 500 companies. Prior to joining the firm in 1990, she was a partner at William H. Clark Associates, Inc. from 1977 to 1990.

MK Pritzker

Pritzker serves as president of the Evergreen Invitational NFP, which provides generous funding to Northwestern Memorial Hospital's Prentice Women's Hospital. In addition to chairing the invitational's steering and grand prix committees, she serves as president and director of the Pritzker Family Foundation and managing partner of The Pritzker Group. Proceeds from the 2007 Evergreen Invitational Grand Prix will benefit eight focused programs at Prentice: New Beginnings: Healthy You and Healthy Baby; Helping Another Nurtures Directly (HAND) Program within Prentice Ambulatory Care (PAC); The First-ever Drug Reference Guide for the Pregnant Patient; RIC Women's Health Rehabilitation Program's Inner Strength Initiative Pilot Program; Implementation of a Certified Nurse Midwife Role for Low Risk Labor Management; and Chronic Maternal Stress and Disparities in Preterm Birth.



Michael Ruchim, MD

Ruchim serves as assistant dean for clinical affairs and clinical associate professor in the department of gastroenterology at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine.



Nathaniel J. Soper, MD

Soper chairs the department of surgery at the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine. He has served as chief of the division of gastrointestinal/endocrine surgery at Northwestern Memorial Hospital since 2005 and director of minimally invasive surgery at the hospital since 2003.



Timothy P. Sullivan

Sullivan is managing director of Madison Dearborn Partners. Prior to co-founding Madison Dearborn Partners, he was with First Chicago Venture Capital for three years, having previously served in the U.S. Navy.
