Nielsen Announces 2009 Winners of the First-Ever CLIO Healthcare Awards

NEW YORK, Nov. 16 The Nielsen Company, a leading global information and media company and the CLIO Awards, one of the world's most recognized international advertising and design competitions, today announced the winners of the first-ever CLIO Healthcare Awards in all categories. At the innovative awards show, which recognizes creative excellence and innovation in the healthcare advertising industry, Dr. Mehmet C. Oz received an Honorary CLIO Healthcare Award for embodying that standard of excellence in healthcare communication through mass media.

"The first-ever CLIO Healthcare Awards mixer was warmly welcomed by the industry," said Karl Vontz, Director of Events, AdweekMedia Events and CLIO Awards, The Nielsen Company. "We turned the award show format upside down and started with the celebration and then handed out the awards. The audience was able to network with the most creative professionals in the industry throughout the evening rather than being stuck in a seat.
