HILLSBORO, Ore., July 22 Senior living is evolving to meetthe needs of today's active retirees. This new generation of seniors islooking for communities with more amenities and lots of opportunities tocontinue their involvement in the activities they love.

Willowcreek Management Company is responding to this change with TheSprings at Tanasbourne, a departure from the senior living communities of thepast. Construction is well underway on this distinctive new retirement livingcommunity designed to offer retirees plenty of opportunities to stay involvedand active, while enjoying the benefits of maintenance-free living.

The community will offer a continuum of services, from independent livingto assisted living and memory care for residents with Alzheimer's disease andother memory challenges. Residences will include studios and one- andtwo-bedroom units.

Stubblefield said he began Willowcreek Management with a business partnerto offer a new standard in retirement living. "We set out to build a communitywhere my grandmother, Lillian, could live comfortably," he said. The companyoperates five other communities in the Pacific Northwest.
