Schmidt's work has appeared on CBS Sunday Morning, The Early Show, NBC Nightly News, TODAY, MSNBC, CNN and HDNews. As a reporter for NBC's Miami flagship WTVJ for four years, Schmidt led coverage of some of the defining stories of the past decade including the Elian Gonzalez imbroglio; voter recounts in Florida's presidential contests; and the terrorists connections in Florida after September 11.

As someone dealing with diabetes for the last 20 years, Schmidt brings particular compassion and insight into the diabetes stories dLife covers.

Emily Senay, M.D., was the CBS News medical correspondent for The Early Show and a contributor to CBS Sunday Morning with Charles Osgood and CBS Evening News with Katie Couric. She currently serves as director of the Master of Public Health Program and an assistant professor of medicine at Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York City. And also anchors CBS Healthwatch on Westwood One Radio.

dLifeTV, an award-winning (17 Telly Awards, among others) half-hour weekly series, features compelling stories of real people, exclusive interviews with celebrities, nutritional advice, diabetes-friendly recipes and breaking health and technical news. Two-time James Beard Foundation award winner Michel Nischan continues to lead the show's food and recipe coverage, and Hollywood actor Jim Turner returns with his special brand of humor about living with diabetes.

dLifeTV Season 12 highlights include exclusive interviews with celebrities such as The View co-host Sherri Shepherd, Ruby Gettinger of Style Network's Ruby, Kim Delaney of Army Wives, LPGA legend Michelle McGann, and former Arkansas governor and Presidential candidate Mike Huckabee.

dLifeTV airs every Sunday on CNBC at 7:00 PM ET, 6:00 PM CT, and 4:00 PM PT.
