New Senior Vice President of Development Seeks Growth for The Visiting Nurse Association of Greater Philadelphia

PHILADELPHIA, Sept. 24 The Visiting Nurse Association(VNA) of Greater Philadelphia has named Brian D. Gill senior vice president ofdevelopment. Gill is responsible for fundraising and development initiativesfor the VNA.

"The future of the Visiting Nurse Association of Greater Philadelphia is abright one," said Stephen Holt, president and CEO. "With Brian's help, wewill build even greater support for the VNA, ensuring our patients will haveaccess to health care at home for years to come."

Gill is past president of the board of directors of the Visiting NurseAssociation of Luzerne County and its Hospice Care Program. He has more than25 years of experience in development programs, including serving as directorof development at Holy Family University, Philadelphia.

"The VNA plays an important role in the Greater Philadelphia community,"Gill said. "We take great pride in the services we provide to each patient.With donor support, we can continue to give patients and their families thehealth care they need and the help they deserve."

Gill supervises fundraising and development for several initiatives,including in-home house calls, programs to help the indigent, community healthprojects Hospice of Philadelphia, a service of the VNA. In addition, he isresponsible for organizing the VNA's annual Hospice of Philadelphia Brown BagWalk, which will take place in the spring.
