HARRISONBURG, Va., Nov. 5

WHAT: Officials from Rockingham County and the City of Harrisonburg will join SRI International executives for a new building dedication ceremony. WHEN: Monday, November 9, 2:00 - 4:00 p.m. WHY: The event celebrates SRI's new facility, which will serve as a key center of research in Shenandoah Valley. WHERE: SRI International Rockingham Center for Research and Technology 140 Research Drive Harrisonburg, Virginia WHO: Featured speakers include: -- Dr. Curtis R. Carlson, President and Chief Executive Officer, SRI International -- Dr. Walter H. Moos, Vice President, SRI International Biosciences -- Dr. Linwood H. Rose, President, James Madison University -- Fred E. Eberly, Chairman of the Rockingham County Board of Supervisors VISUALS: Ribbon-cutting by Dr. Krishna Kodukula, Executive Director, SRI Center for Advanced Drug Research, joined by Joseph S. Paxton, Rockingham County Administrator The facility will be open for self-guided tours. Interviews with SRI executives and researchers are available.
