A key component of the retreat will be 'rebounding' - participants willbe bouncing gently on a mini-trampoline several times a day.

N.A.S.A. published a scientific paper more than 20 years ago whichconcluded that: "rebound exercise is the most efficient, effective form ofexercise yet devised by man" - but it is only now that people are beginningto realize the powerful benefits of this miracle exercise.

The focus is to bring the body, mind and soul together via meditation, exercise and various body therapies. Meals will be vegetarian and organictogether with live fruit and vegetable juices served throughout the day.

The retreats have been designed by Janet Gourand who was diagnosed withstage 2 breast cancer two years ago:

"As I was recovering from breast cancer I took full advantage of the manyalternative therapies which were available to me. I have taken the best ofthose treatments, together with the latest knowledge regarding nutrition andhave designed the retreats to give renewed vitality and a 'fresh attitude' toparticipants. We want people to leave our retreats armed with the latestknowledge to live a long and healthy life and with this in mind we haveincorporated a daily health 'seminar' into the program.

Our retreats are aimed at those recovering from a chronic illness, wanting to lose weight or simply wanting to stay healthy. We are limiting thegroups to ten in number in order to keep the experience as personal andexclusive as possible."

As cancer, diabetes and obesity affect more and more people the negativeeffects of eating fast food and drinking too much coffee and alcohol arebecoming clearer. Retreats such as 'Fresh Attitude' are likely to become morepopular than traditional package holidays as people begin to takeresponsibility for their own health.

These week-long retreats take place in stunning countryside locations -participants can choose between flying to Bordeaux in France or to Cape Townin South Africa.

The first retreat takes place in early March, 2009. More information canbe found on http://www.freshattitude.biz
