LAS VEGAS, Nov. 20 The following is a statement by Charles Perry, Executive Director of the Nevada Health Care Association:
"The Nevada Health Care Association (NHCA) commends and thanks Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid for his leadership in taking our nation a step closer toward our goal of protecting every Nevada seniors' ongoing access to quality nursing home care, and preserving the strength and viability of our state's vital frontline workforce.

"We will continue to work constructively with Senator Reid and congressional leaders of both parties on a final health reform bill that both recognizes the multiple funding challenges facing our sector and our patients and protects the high quality nursing home care every Nevada senior needs and deserves."
